Mr. Christopher Garner

Director

Chris Garner provides more than 17 years of healthcare operations and program management expertise within government and non-government healthcare providers. He has specific experience within VHA related to OCC Executive leadership, strategic planning, transformation, program management, organization change management, customer experience and continuous process improvement support. He supports VHA OCC with the implementation of major transformational initiatives, including Community Care Network (CCN) and Maintaining Internal Systems and Strengthening Integrated Outside Networks (MISSION) Act implementation.

As a Director at Federal Advisory Partners, Mr. Garner is a trusted advisor to his clients and dedicated to outstanding client support, operations, and business development.

Prior to joining Federal Advisory Partners, Mr. Garner provided healthcare operations consulting services with Gallup Inc. and served as the Director of Operations for MedStar Washington Hospital Center’s Neuroscience Institute. While at MedStar, Mr. Garner led the implementation of a specialized Pituitary center, in which care is coordinated between endocrinology, neurosurgery, neuro-ophthalmology and radiology. Mr. Garner also led a health-system wide telehealth program for MedStar’s Comprehensive Stroke Center.

Mr. Garner received his bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology from West Virginia University and his Master’s in Health Administration from the University of Colorado. Additionally, Mr. Garner is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and member of the Project Management Institute (PMI).
