Mr. Don Borchert

Director

Don Borchert provides over 20 years of experience including managing projects for government and non-government healthcare providers with a focus on enhancing performance and maximizing resources within revenue cycle management, project management, strategic planning, process standardization, quality assurance, continuous process improvement, workforce development, internal controls, and competency management.

As a Director at Federal Advisory Partners, Mr. Borchert is passionate about serving as a trusted advisor to his clients, program delivery, operational efficiency, and business development. He leads revenue cycle transformation projects and strategic support contracts for the Department of Defense’s Defense Health Agency (DHA) Uniform Business Office (UBO).

Prior to joining Federal Advisory Partners, Mr. Borchert spent a decade at PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP as a management consultant leading revenue cycle engagements for commercial healthcare providers across the country. He has also worked as an Internal Auditor analyzing and assessing a wide array of internal control points germane to operational and risk management issues.

He received his bachelor’s degree in accounting from LeMoyne College and his master’s degree in Business Administration from Saint Joseph’s College. Additionally, Mr. Borchert is a member of the Project Management Institute and the Maine Chapter of Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) where he has served on the Membership Committee since 2014. Don also volunteers his time as a member of the Community Advisory Panel for Vertex Pharmaceuticals.
