Ms. Erin Daniel


Erin Daniel provides over 14 years of financial management and audit readiness expertise supporting multiple government agencies. She has specific experience with financial management improvement, implementing financial systems, developing A-123 programs, developing financial statements, and performing financial analyses. Ms. Daniel has comprehensive knowledge of federal accounting, budget, and financial reporting policies, regulations, and processes which she applies to support clients in achieving and exceeding their goals. Currently, Ms. Daniels supports the Office of Community Care (OCC) with developing an advanced medical cost management solution to assist with managing and overseeing medical care costs.

As a Director at Federal Advisory Partners, Ms. Daniel is committed to providing exceptional client delivery, program support, and business development. Ms. Daniel currently leads the Financial Management & Accounting practice for F|A|P and supports multiple Veterans Affairs clients. In this role, she manages multiple contracts that are supported by project teams made of project managers, financial analysts, subject matter experts, data analysts, and consultants.

Previously, Ms. Daniel served as a Manager for KPMG supporting Department of Defense and Veterans Affairs clients. She managed multiple projects that focused on improving financial management processes, policies, data, and systems. She supported clients on implementing strategic approaches to developing, overseeing, and monitoring corrective action plans to remediate audit findings and ensure compliance with financial policy, laws, and regulations. In addition, Ms. Daniel supported senior level executives with developing and implementing key audit readiness programs, such as an A-123 internal controls program, to proactively identify and remediate program risks to decrease future audit issues.

Ms. Daniel received a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies and Resource Management from Virginia Tech.
