Policy Analysis & Evaluation


F|A|P provides strategic support to the Veteran’s Health Administration (VHA) through the implementation and integration of the Microsoft (MS) Dynamics tool that will assist in streamlining a Veteran’s customer service experience. This tool provides a comprehensive system that allows for further tracking and monitoring workload reporting across the organization’s Consolidated Patient Account Centers (CPACs). F|A|P is collaborating with the following CPAC functional departments to achieve the success of this engagement: Facility Revenue, Veterans Services, Insurance Verification, Revenue Utilization Review, Accounts Management, Cash Management, Accounting, and Billing.

F|A|P has provided policy analyst support and expertise to ensure policies are in alignment with VHA Directives and VHA Regulations through accomplishing the following items:

  •  Categorization and itemization of current internal policies and functional areas that will be impacted by Electronic Health Record (EHR) Transformation

  •  Prioritization of impacts by risk level (functional areas and departments)

  •  Update language in internal policies and ensure proper communications and training materials are developed and disseminated
