Community Care Program Management Office

F|A|P has supported the Office of Community Care’s (OCC) mission to provide Veterans with timely access to quality care. The Veteran’s Health Administration (VHA) has developed an implementation plan that outlines the Veterans journey focusing on essential clinical and business functions to support the Community Care Program. This program is designed to provide the Veteran with an increased customer experience through targeted efforts on the enhancement of operational performance, quality of care and patient safety. Additionally, the program is meant to strengthen partnerships with external Third Party Administrators (TPAs) and community providers.

F|A|P supports all stages of the Community Care lifecycle, including: Eligibility, Referral and Authorization, Care Coordination, Utilization Management, Provider Network, Provider Payment, and Revenue Cycle. F|A|P led the deployment of strategic initiatives focused on critical functional areas of healthcare planning, business process engineering, clinical operations management, training, internal controls, budget analysis and planning, and implementation support services.
